Research shows that one of the keys to positive living is the ability to find gratitude. Next time you find yourself feeling down, redirect your focus by thinking about three things you are truly grateful for and why you are grateful for them.

For example: I am grateful for taking the time to leisurely sip this cup of tea. It gives me a much needed pause from my otherwise busy day. I am grateful for the friendly barista at the coffee shop. I appreciate her positivity and friendly smile. I am grateful for my comfortable bed. I feel safe to relax and sleep soundly.
